Marmaton Watershed
The United States Geological Survey (USGS) has gaging stations along the Marmaton River.  In Kansas, there is a station near Uniontown and one near Fort Scott.  In Missouri, there is a station near Richards and one near Nevada.  Most gaging stations measure discharge, gage height, and precipitation; however, precipitation data is only temporary and not archived.  Precipitation data can be acquired from the National Climatic Data Center (NCDC), but data may not be available for the gaging station location.
